Counselling sessions
Acorn Counselling Therapy offers face to face counselling for individuals and couples from The Practice Rooms in either Hove or Brighton. I also offer online counselling for individuals to anywhere in the UK. Before any sessions a free informal telephone consultation is offered, which is important in helping you decide whether you want to move forward. Usually the counselling sessions would be at the same time each week. I can discuss whether a regular time slot would be suitable for you and if you will require short term
(6, 12, or 18 sessions) or longer term counselling.
Initial session
50 minutes - £20
This is an important stage before any counselling begins, to assess that it is safe, ethical and appropriate for us to work together.
It also gives us the opportunity to get to know one another better. You will have the chance to ask me questions about the way I work and get a sense of whether I am the right person for you to have counselling with. There is no obligation to continue.
Individual face to face counselling
50 minutes - £55
For a one to one, 50 minute counselling session at a time we mutually agree on, usually each week. This will take place at either;
Individaul online counselling
50 minutes - £55
For a one to one, 50 minute counselling session at a time we mutually agree on, usually each week.
This will be done online using video conferencing or if counselling is to be undertaken by the written word, by email or instant messaging.
Couples counselling
60 minutes - £70
For a 60 minute counselling session at a time we mutually agree on, usually each week. This will take place either online or at either ;

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations, absences and missed appointments, with less than 48 hours notice given, the full rate will be charged. Outside of this no charge will be made. The payment for the missed session is to be made before the next session.
How to pay
Payments can be made by bank transfer. Payments are made prior to a scheduled session.
